Cascina, PISA, June 2019. SAFire is pleased to announce that Linde Engineering Dresden, Linde AG, Engineering Division has awarded SAFire for the engineering, design, manufacturing, testing, inspection of deluge skids needed at the Inter Pipeline’s Polypropylene plant in Canada.

The water spray system and the foam system packages for the protection of the process area (compressors, extruders, recovery units, hot air units and peroxide room), will be completely engineered and designed as well as fabricated and tested by the SAFire SPN factory in Messina whereas project management will instead be located at SAFire PSA in Cascina (PISA). The deluge skids will be designed for low temperature installation such as those of the cold winter climates expected in Alberta, Canada.

This project is the second awarded by Linde Dresden to SAFire which comes just after the conclusion of the La Porte polypropylene project in Texas, USA and reconfirms the confidence Linde Engineering is developing in SAFire’s as trusted partner in fire protection solutions for chemical processes.
